We’re an early-stage AI startup building intelligent systems from the ground up — reimagining how humans and machines collaborate to solve complex problems in trust & safety, fraud, and compliance. Our mission is to automate the manual review process and boost the productivity of human reviewers by leveraging LLMs, automation, and scalable cloud infrastructure. We’re looking for a Backend Engineer who’s fluent in Python and experienced with AWS technologies like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. You’ll design and build high-performance backend services and APIs that power our AI products, working closely with other engineers to deploy and scale intelligent automation workflows. You’ll own major components of our architecture, from data pipelines to serverless infrastructure, helping us deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions from day one. Requirements： ● 3+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems. ● Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django. ● Deep understanding of AWS services — Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM, CloudWatch. ● Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices. ● Familiarity with serverless architectures and asynchronous processing. ● Strong grasp of software design principles, scalability, and distributed systems. ● Proficiency in CI/CD, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK). ● Excellent debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills. ● Ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. ● Bonus: experience integrating backend services with LLM-powered systems or data pipelines.
