Actual crypto trading experience, including perps and basic risk management. Strong attention to detail. You understand how orders work, how funding works, how liquidations happen, and the core mechanics every active trader should know. Familiarity with common trading setups like breakouts, retests, trend continuation, mean reversion, liquidity grabs, support and resistance plays, and basic volume based setups. Comfort reading order books, using volume tools, and working with popular indicators like RSI, MACD, moving averages, VWAP, and basic volatility measures. Clear understanding of the non custodial world. You know how wallets, gas, bridging, signing, approvals, and on chain interactions actually work in practice, not just in theory. Basic understanding of both manual and algorithmic trading styles and how traders use them day to day. Ability to mock up examples and illustrate ideas on a TradingView chart, from simple setups to step by step scenarios. Some writing experience in any format, with the ability to explain things in plain English without losing accuracy. Comfort testing competitor trading platforms and understanding how different exchanges and perp DEXs approach execution, UX, and market structure.
